“Great place to stay within a sidewalked mile of most of Main Street Luray! Yes, there was some road noise, but that’s to be expected when you’re literally off Main Street. We knew it before going and were ok with that. House was clean and comfortable with many thoughtful amenities. The new fence does make the backyard feel more private. Many coffee-making options. Beds were quite soft and my daughter loved the padded bench in the master. Apparently it is “fire”. Hosts were very responsive, friendly, and patient with our many questions. Only drawbacks were extremely minor preference stuff—the clean and functional toilets were old-fashioned small, low ones—and the fact that some of the very nice cookware has scratches from where previous guests used metal utensils (don’t do that!).”

“Brenda was a great host and her place was very nice. The only complaint is the lack of privacy and it was a little noisy at night. The fence Brenda is installing will make a positive difference. The house was conveniently located to the national park and had everything we needed for a great get away. Highly recommend.”

“Brenda’s place was a nice stay for 1 night. The house itself was easy to locate, since it’s right on the corner of the main road in town. Due to its location, you could hear cars passing by outside at night & the train go by in the early morning. Also the yard has no privacy for those seeking to spend time on the deck. The interior was cute & mostly clean (there was an unflushed toilet & the dishes were not put away out of the dishwasher). It is very well decorated and homey. The bathrooms are huge! It was a great deal for a weekend stay! Brenda and Chris were very responsive and proactive about our needs during the stay. I would recommend this house overall!”

“This place was great: spacious, very clean, clear directions. One way street, with some traffic noise as it is near two gas stations. Missing a toaster. Very comfortable and well worth the price.”

“We would definitely recommend booking this place. We chose to stay here to be near a city (Luray) before hiking at Shenandoah and this house had it all. Really spacious and clean and it seemed like the hosts thought of every detail inside to make it a comfortable stay. The back deck is awesome too!”

It was a very good space for our one night and even had some great snacks/chocolates offered to enjoy.
